After many years in an old winery in the centre of the village, Jesús moved his facilities to a new location on the edge of town. This is the first wine he made there, a fine Gran Reserva, aged for 3 years in barrel and now a magnificent 10 years in bottle.

This is a selection of the very best Tempranillo, which is then fermented in small individual open barrels, a very labour intensive process. After the fermentation, these French oak barrels are rebuilt to to be used to age the wine for 12 months.

A Reserva has to be a three year old wine, of which one should be spent in barrel. This fine reserva was actually kept for the whole three years in barrel!
